“My daughter, Shalini, lives with fever and pain. I have no idea how she is able to fight such horrible misery, but my daughter is strong. But I fear that her strength will fail her one day. I need help to save her.”

Shalini, a 9-year-old girl, lives with her parents in Adilabad, Telangana. Initially, she was suffering from fever and fatigue. Upon examination, it was confirmed that she is suffering from Complex Heart Disease.Shalini has two holes in her heart and is plagued with fevers.

According to doctors at Telangana’s Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (8.9 km from Hyderabad Railway Station), Shalini needs treatment which would cost Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lakh Only).

Baskar works as a coolie and earns a daily wage. He lives in a rented house with his family of four and has no one to support him. The medical expenses are being paid with his meagre earnings.
