"We were enjoying our parenthood until our daughter was diagnosed, with Liver Cancer. We thought that it might be some health infection and can get recover by medicines. Further, when we understood about the cause, from that moment our life is in fear of losing our daughter."
- Sandip, Samruddhi's Father.
Samruddhi was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma Pretext- lV and Congenital Hypofibrinogenemia.
Samruddhi is the single child of Sandip (Father) and Sonali (Mother); everything was on a proper track until Samruddhi started to show symptoms of a respiratory problem. When they consult their family doctor and carry the medical diagnosis, it determined that Samruddhi is suffering from Hepatoblastoma Pretext- lV and Congenital Hypofibrinogenemia and needs to undergo Liver Transplantation. Both the parents didn't understand the term which was put forward by the doctor but, what they conceded is to save their daughter from this fearful disease.
Baby Samruddhi's Father, Sandip Surase has completed his evaluation for liver transplant surgery and is found to be fit to undergo liver transplantation. The cost estimated by the doctor is Rs. 16, 50, 000/- (Sixteen Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) for the treatment. The tentative date for her surgery is 20th May 2019.
Both the parents work on daily wages in someone's farm at Devlana, Taluka Kannad, District Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and sometimes they also need to do labor work to bear the expenses. For the last few months, they have exhausted all the savings for the multiple tests and hospital charges. They also need to pay the rent for their shelter and are unable to accumulate the amount for their daughter's treatment.
