Samiksha Chavan is a delight in her neighbourhood in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. With her intelligence and skills, she loves to help other students in her class and those around her with their studies. In fact, she even dreams of becoming a teacher herself and describes school as her favourite place. However, her beloved place became a source of horror for her.

Her leg hit the school bench during playtime which caused a painful wound that would later confirm to be Ewing Sarcoma-a kind of cancer. She has been struggling with cancer for six months now and the rigorous sessions of chemotherapies have caused her to lose her appetite and severe vomiting.
