“The date of 25th September 2016 will always be etched in my and my wife’s heart. On this day, my son, Samarth Lakhe, was born. At that moment, nothing else mattered, except for us. Six years ago, my son entered the world crying and six years later he cries yet again.”-

Samarth Lakhe used to be like any other six-year-old, full of laughter and joy. But ever since being diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma, his happiness has withered away from his life. Who once was a jovial child, has lost his smile.

Samarth’s parents found out about his condition after sonography detected a tumour, which was removed via an operation. However, Samarth’s woes did not end. According to the doctors at Kolhapur Cancer Centre in Maharashtra, Samarth needs advised chemotherapy and supportive care. The total cost of the treatment is Rs. 8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakh Only).

Samarth’s father is a daily wage labourer, who has to pay Rs 1,500 monthly for house rent. Samarth’s father can barely manage to put food on the table for his family. He has no way of amassing such a huge sum of money. Please come to the aid of the Lakhe family, and rescue Samarth from the depths of despair by donating as much as possible.
