“My daughter, Ruhi, was born with a heart that has caused her trouble rather than pumping life into her. Instead of joys that are so common in children, she spends most of the time in pain. Will my child ever get to experience a normal childhood?”

Ruhi, a 2.5-year-old child of Atul and Priyanka, lives in Hisar, Haryana. She has a weak heart, which has a hole in it. The condition has caused her to stop her growth. Doctors have even warned that in the future she might face difficulty running and will experience fatigue.

According to the doctors at Haryana’s Paras Health Hospitals (13 km from Gurugram Railway Station), Ruhi needs surgery which would cost Rs.3,80,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Eighty Thousand Only).

Atul works as a helper and is the sole breadwinner in his family of five. His meagre income is barely enough to pay for meals and he is facing a shortage of money to pay for the treatment.
