Help Rufus who relapses with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)


Master A. Rufus was a seemingly healthy child when he was born. When he turned 10 years old, he had diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and had fought with cancer already. But again he relapses with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). It is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow with excess immature white blood cells.

After successful treatment of Haplo-identical Transplant (BMT) in which his father was going to be a donor. Rufus requires intensive chemotherapy with FLAG IDA protocol and Prophylaxis with voriconazole, septran, and nutrition care. The cost estimated for his treatment and care is Rs. 70,000/- (Seventy Thousand Only) per month for more six months; but his parents are challenged financially.

Mr. A. Venkateshwar Rao (Father) is a farmer at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, who grows vegetable and paddy to look after his family. He is the sole breadwinner of his family. Unfortunately, his crops failed last year and the family has been surviving on borrowed money since then. He sold his house, took loans from other farmers and also applied for CM funds, but failed. They also approached various fund facilitation but left disappointed to get providing financial assistance.
