“Until just a few months ago, my Rohan radiated mischief and joy, lighting up our home with his infectious laughter. But now, his days are shrouded in relentless pain and suffering. Rohan is an eleven-year-old resident of Shirol, Maharashtra, whose life has been recently overshadowed by the diagnosis of Osteosarcoma. This condition has plunged him into excruciating pain and swelling, rendering his days unbearable.

The Medical experts at Maharashtra's Kolhapur Cancer Centre (16 km from Kolhapur Railway Station) have recommended a treatment regimen for Rohan, including Wide Excision Distal Femur, ECRT, Re implantation, and Mega Prosthesis. However, this essential treatment comes with a substantial cost of Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Only).

Tragically, Rohan's father has passed away, leaving his mother, Vaishali, to shoulder the burden of their family of three. Vaishali earns a meagre income ranging from Rs. 200-300 per day as a Scrap Collector. Despite her best efforts, she has exhausted her resources, resorting to borrowing from relatives to meet Rohan's medical expenses.
