“My child has been experiencing recurring sickness since the age of five. But it is only recently that we found out that her sickness is more grave than we could ever imagine. I have no idea where she gets the strength to battle such a condition, but I have to be strong for her and help her.”

Puja, a ten-year-old daughter of Adinarayana and Aruna, lives in Darsi, Andhra Pradesh. She has been diagnosed with B- Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the condition which has plagued her with fever and frequent vomitting.

According to the doctors at Andhra Pradesh’s Ankura Hospital ( 4.7 km from Vijayawada Railway Station), Puja needs to undergo Chemotherapy And Supportive Care, which would cost Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Only).

Adinarayana works as a daily wage labourer and is the sole breadwinner in his family of five. He lives in a rented house and is relying on his relatives to pay the medical bills.
