As Pramod Kodale works in a bakery, between his shifts his mind continues to wander and he begins to worry about his son, who is hospitalised at Kolhapur Cancer Centre. No one can blame him, as he is carrying a deep sorrow in his heart. His son, Pradnay, has been diagnosed with ‘B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia’,.

It all started when Pradnay was taken down by a fever, which didn’t recede even after antibiotics. Later, the infant developed swelling in his body. After undergoing numerous tests, it was discovered that he was suffering from blood cancer.

Pradnay’s treatment would cost Rs 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only). Pradnay's father earns a meagre income, out of which he has to pay for the expense of his family of four. He has already spent one lakh rupees for his son’s treatment by exhausting his savings and borrowing from his family members.
