"It all started with a severe headache but after the diagnosis; the result shattered our lives. There is hardly anything that we can do to ease my son's discomfort. Last year Nithin has undergone one surgery, and soon he will be going his second surgery to get rid of this disease."

Nithin is a 15- year old boy suffering from Arteriovenous malformation in the brain.

During his board preparations, Nithin started to get severe headaches. His parents thought that it might be some minor headache due to studies and will get normal with some rest and medications. But when they consult their family doctor something else was divulged. The parents got worried about his health, and they consulted KIMS Hospital for further diagnosis. It was found that Nithin was suffering from Arteriovenous malformation in the brain. It is an abnormal connection between arteries and veins that can rupture, causing bleeding into the brain.



Under the solicitude of neurologist, Nithin had undergone his first surgery in July 2019. Further, it was detected that he is carrying Hydrocephalus, a condition in which an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) occurs within the brain. This typically causes increased pressure inside a skull. And to improve this condition, he has undergone the surgery that cost Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakh Only).

On 30th August 2019 he again needs to undergo Bone Flap Replacement after his previous surgery that estimates the cost of Rs. 2, 00, 000/- (Two Lakh Only)





Mr. Srinivas is a bike mechanic and a sole breadwinner of his family and is working hard to meet the expenses. He has liquidated all his saving for Nithin's earlier surgery. With his meager income, he is not in a position to afford another cost without your help.

How you can help?

In the upcoming month, Nithin needs to undergo the Bone Flap Replacement to get treated the fluid accumulation in his brain. His poor parents, who have already liquidated all their savings cannot afford his surgery. The situation is unconditionally beyond their means. You can extend a helping hand to these desperate parents and save their 15-year-old son.
