Nihar Burkule is a 8-year-old little boy, who lives in Nashik, Maharashtra with his parents. Recently diagnosed with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy), he grapples with mobility issues, unable to move without risking falls.

According to doctors at Navi Mumbai’s Neuro Gen Brain & Spine Institute (231 meters from Seawood Railway Station), Nihar needs Neuro Regenerative Rehabilitation Therapy for his recovery. This vital treatment comes at a cost of Rs.3, 95,000/- (Three lakh Ninety-five thousand rupees).

Nihar’s father, Rushikesh works as a driver and manages to earn Rs. 3,000 per month. He is the sole breadwinner of the family of four. Despite depleting his savings and borrowing heavily from relatives, covering Nihar's medical expenses remains an immense challenge for Rushikesh.
