“I have no idea how my daughter gets the strength to battle the deadly tumor. I have heard about these incidents and it has always horrified me. Never did I think that it would reach the doorstep of my house. I have no idea how can I help her, but I have to figure it out.”

Mithi, a four-year-old girl of Charan Singh and Neelam, lives in Karnal, Haryana. She has been diagnosed with Left Scapula Tumor, a disease which has plagued her with bouts of cold and a rapid pulse rate.

According to the doctors at Uttarakhand’s Jeevan Jyoti Hospital (27.7 km from Haridwar Railway Station), Mithi needs to undergo surgery which would cost Rs.4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Only).

Charan Singh is the sole breadwinner in his family of four. He works as a daily wage labourer and makes meagre earnings. He has taken help from his loved ones to fund the medical expenses, but he is still falling short.
