In Belagavi, Karnataka resides a fourteen-year-old Mahesh Gokak, a bright young child whose life has been hampered by Congenital Dorsolumbar Scoliosis, A spinal defect. The fourteen-year-old dreams of sharing the burden of his family, but within the confines of his diagnosis, he has little option but to wait for his surgery.

According to the doctors at the Department of Spine & Joint Surgery Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital in Bengaluru, Mahesh needs pedicle screw instrumentation, deformity correction, vertebral column resection and fusion. The estimated cost of his treatment is Rs. 5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakh Only).

Mahesh’s father, Sadashiv is a daily wage labourer, who has to manage the expenses of his family of six. He has no way of paying such a hefty sum. Please share Mahesh’s story with all your friends and family members. A single share can do wonders for this young boy.
