Geetha comes home exhausted every day after gruelling hours as a housekeeper. However, Geetha does not have the luxury to rest, as her daughter, Lavanya is suffering from Congenital Kyphoscoliosis. Being separated from her husband, the entire responsibility falls on the shoulders of the single mother.

According to the doctors at Karnataka’s Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital (4 km away from Bengaluru Railway Station), Lavanya needs to undergo treatment that would cost Geeta Rs 4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs Only).

Geetha is responsible for putting food on the table for a family of three and also has to pay monthly rent. This is impossible with her limited income as a housekeeper. Both her daughters’ studies are being continued, but it pains her heart to see her daughter attend school in such a precarious situation.
