Kartiki Nikam is a 3year old girl of Mr. Gajanan Nikam (Father) and Mrs. Suchita Nikam (Mother). Kartiki is the youngest and has an elder brother named Suraj Nikam (9yrs). Her father works as an electrician with a very low income and her mother is a housewife.

Kartiki started getting fever frequently. Whenever she was taken to the doctor and given medication, she would recover but would again get fever after a few days. Her parents consulted various doctors for her treatment. This had continued till the day when one of the doctors suggested them to do some medical tests through which they got to know that she is suffering from blood cancer. She was then shifted to Bharati Hospital for her better treatment. The estimated cost of her treatment is Rs.7, 00,000/- (Rupees Seven lakh only).

Kartiki’s father, being the only earning person in the family of 7, is not able to bear the expenses of his daughter’s treatment.
