During the 5th Month of Savitha’s pregnancy, it was detected that her child had some kidney ailment. Doctors conducted surgery for the same condition after 45 days of delivery. However, Savitha’s son, Jovito had to undergo regular scans. It was soon found out that his kidney had a swelling.

It has been two years since the incident, Jovito has been diagnosed with hydronephrosis, and his left kidney has stopped functioning. According to the doctors at Rajagiri Hospital in Kerala, Jovito needs to undergo pyeloplasty, which comes with the cost of Rs 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Only).

With no income to survive on, Savitha and her children rely on their neighbours and relatives for daily sustenance. Adding to her miseries, her younger daughter has fits, and her husband has abandoned her.
