“After many years of marriage when I didn’t conceive, I starting worrying and praying to God for a child. I was on seventh heaven when I got to know that I was pregnant. My happiness was shattered when Jainy was delivered and I was told about her multiple deformities. I have just one question to ask, ‘Why my daughter only’. When God had given me a chance to be a mother after so many years of marriage why did he make my daughter like this and even if he has made my baby like this he would have at least given something better. Why He deformed her whole body. I am worried about my daughter’s future. I am worried whether she will be able to ever recover”.

Jainy was born with multiple deformities. Jainy will need multiple surgeries for the normal recovery. Jainy is a single parent child. Her mother is her only care taker. Ms. Sujata in the 2 nd month of her pregnancy was told that her baby’s growth is very slow. By the time she and the doctors would realize that the baby was deformed the baby had grown. Ms. Sujata, Jainy’s Mother said that she was against aborting her daughter and committing a sin. However the baby might be that she will do everything to take care of her.
