Ganesh, a four-month-old infant of Akash and Radhika, lives in Bid, Maharashtra. He has been diagnosed with an AV Canal Defect, causing him intense coughing.

According to the doctors at Maharashtra’s Apollo Hospital (1.2 km from Seawoods-Darave Railway Station), Ganesh needs to undergo AV Canal Repair which would cost Rs.4,39,400/- (Rupees Four Lakh Thirty-Nine Thousand Four Hundred Only).

Akash is the sole breadwinner in his family of six and works as an auto-rickshaw driver. Most of his earnings go toward paying the house rent of Rs. 3,000/-.
