before. We have rushed him from one hospital to the other in search of treatment. But nothing seemed to
make my baby any better. He is just one year old and going through so much pain. We have already spent
lakhs of money till now. We are in debt and we do not have more funds for the surgery. My baby needs to
get operated on as soon as possible. He has very little time left to survive. A mother begs you for help!

Divyanshu Kumar, a seventeen-month-old beloved son to Mr. Hari Om Kumar and Mrs. Radha Kumari,
is in a dire need of open-heart surgery. Normal life and happiness have come with a cost of Rs. 2,82,500/-
for this little boy.
Divyanshu was born with a heart defect at a small community hospital where treatment was unavailable
so his parents took him to Indira Gandhi Hospital, Bihar. Unfortunately, the doctors were unable to treat
him and therefore they decided to move him to Raipur, Chhattisgarh for better treatment. Doctors were
also not able to treat Divyanshu. This little boy has hardly had a normal childhood since then, as he has
always been in and out of hospitals. His parents were on their toes, desperate to find a cure for their only
son's heart defect.
At last, they admitted him to Mahavir Heart Hospital, Bihar where the doctors informed them that
Divyanshu was supposed to undergo Intra Cardiac Repair for VSD Closure Surgery a year ago and that
the family had wasted a lot of time. His heart defect has worsened and he needs urgent surgery to survive.
Mr. Hari Om Kumar work as a daily wage laborer earning up to Rs. 12,000/- per month and Mrs. Radha
Kumari is a homemaker. The family consists of two more members, Divyanshu's grandmother and uncle.
His father is the only earning member in the family of five. Since Divyanshu's birth, the family has
borrowed a lot of money from others to support his treatment. They need Rs. 2,82,500/- (Rupees Two
Lakhs Eighty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) more for his surgery.
This one-year-old child has been putting on a brave face and fighting this battle for life like a true warrior
but to come out on the winning side, he really needs your constant support and love. Please be kind and
help this bundle of joy that is caged in the hospital since birth.
