“Evey time I hold my son in my arms, I can feel that he is growing weaker by the day. But I have no option, but to watch on powerlessly. I want to protect him, but how am I as a weaponless warrior supposed to shield him from harm? Please save my son from this eternal despair.”-

The woes of Dhruva started when he started to develop a high fever. His parents ignored thinking that it was just a routine fever, but he started developing blood clots, and it was then the parents realized that something is terribly wrong. They rushed him to Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad, where the doctors told them that Dhruva was suffering from Severe Aplastic Anemia. Doctors have said that he needs to undergo Stem Cell Transplant, which would cost around Rs 16,00,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakhs Only).

Today, Dhruva is in the hospital and has to rely on antibiotics. His father, Prabhu, is the sole breadwinner of the family and works as a freelance graphic designer. His income range is something around Rs 10,000. Out of which Rs 4,000 goes to paying the house’s rent. He has to manage his family of four, with whatever income is left with him.

Prabhu has managed to pay up to Rs 6 lakhs for his son, by borrowing money from friends and family members. But it is not nearly the amount required. He is completely powerless to help his son right now. Please come to the aid of Dhruva and save him from the depths of despair.
