Sivagami Rangappanaikar was in severe pain on the night of 24th November, 2022 when she delivered a premature baby boy in her 7th month of pregnancy. The complication was caused due to less blood circulation in her body. Accessibility to better healthcare during pregnancy was difficult for the mother because she stayed in a small village Namakkal in Tamil Nadu.

Sivagami’s husband Muthuamy Rangappanaikar was deeply hurt when he heard that his baby boy weighs a little over 580 grams. He is a poor farm labourer and toils day in and day out. After which he earns a meagre amount to support their family.

Baby of Sivagami is currently admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Limited Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The doctors have proposed a Parental Nutrition CPAP NICU Stay for Extreme Preterm, Low Birth Weight Distress Syndrome of the patient.The estimated cost for the treatment is Rs 7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs Only). The family is in no shape to afford such a costly treatment. At this crucial time, only your generous donation can be a life saviour for them.
