Praveen and Saranya’s world collapsed when they found out that their newborn son was diagnosed with Hypernatremic Dehydration with Hyperkalemia. The baby was even confined to the ICU for three days.

The toys that Praveen and Saranya bought, before the birth of the baby, are collecting dust, and the expected happiness has been replaced by sorrows. According to the doctors at Blossoms Mother & Child Hospital in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, the baby needs to undergo Exploratory Laparotomy followed by Ileostomy Closure.

The cost of the treatment is coming at Rs 1,80,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Eighty Thousand Only). Praveen works at a private company and is finding it difficult to manage expenses. He has to put food on the table for six members and pays a monthly rent of Rs 5,000.
