“Our happiness knew no bounds when we learned that we were pregnant. Like every other
expecting couple, we started planning of welcoming our baby to this world. But who thought
soon, happy days would turn into the worst nightmare. My premature born son is suffering from
an ailment I cannot even pronounce correctly. We are feeling hopeless, please help us.”-
Mrs. Ramla gave birth to a premature baby boy during the sixth month of her pregnancy on 27th
August 2022, due to certain complications. Her baby was taken to NICU immediately after his
birth. He is suffering from BPD due to lung prematurity (a problem with how a baby's lung tissue
develops) and congenital CMV infection. The baby is advised prolonged ventilator support at
Koyili Hospital, Kerala. The estimated cost of the treatment is Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen
Lakh Only).
Ramla’s husband works in the hospitality department at a hotel in Kerala. He is the sole
breadwinner of the family of four and earns Rs. 15,000/- a month. He already has a huge debt
to repay because of the help he took for his son’s delivery and the ongoing treatment. Arranging
an amount as huge as 15 lakh is nearly impossible for them. Your generosity can help them get
