“We were so happy that we were going to have our first child. Our excitement to become parents knew no bounds. We made so many plans for the baby, but right now it is all in shambles and the only thing that runs through our minds is our baby’s survival.”

When N. Manga gave birth to her first child the house in Gudipalle, Telangana was painted with gloom instead of being brightened by happiness. Her child was delivered in the sixth month of pregnancy through C-Section.

The baby is confined to the NICU of Telangana’s Rainbow Children’s Hospital (15.7km from Hyderabad Railway Station). She needs treatment that would cost Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Only).

Rajender works as a helper and earns little income. He is the sole breadwinner in his family. He has taken help from relatives to provide for the treatment.
