“We were so excited to have our child, but never could we imagine that our child would be welcomed with sorrows instead of celebrations. I haven’t even held my child in my arms, he has been locked away from me.”

On 25th April, 2024, Kalpana gave birth to a baby boy. But happiness was absent in her and her husband, G Sravan Kumar’s house in Doulthabad, Telangana. The baby was born in the seventh month of Kalpana’s pregnancy and naturally, the baby was weak.

According to the doctors at Telangana’s Sowmya Children’s Hospital (8.8 km from Hyderabad Railway Station), the baby needs NICU stay and oxygen support which costs Rs.9,00,000/- (Rupees Nine lakh Only).

G Sravan Kumar works as a farmer and lives with his family of five. He has borrowed money from his relatives, but he is still falling short.
