Athmika had been diagnosed with Congenital Agenesis of Sternum during her birth. She continuously suffers from pain in her chest and suffers from a respiratory problem. The sternum or breastbone is a long flat bone located in the central part of the chest. It connects to the ribs via cartilage and forms the front of the rib cage, thus helping to protect the heart, lungs, and major blood vessels from injury.
A Labor worker with a meager income is struggling to get Athmika treated.
Athmika needs Complete Sternal Reconstruction with 3 weeks ICU stays to fight back from this dreadful disease. But both the parents are not in a condition to arrange the cost of Rs. 3, 75, 000/- (Three Lakh Seventy-Five Thousand Only) estimated by the doctor. Now, without any help, they would not be able to save their daughter.
