Apoorva is a four-year-old child of Anamika and Pappu, who lives in Kolkata, West Bengal. She has been diagnosed with Congenital Heart Diseaseand she has a hole in her heart.She had the disease since her birth, but it was detected when she was eight months old.

According to the doctors at West Bengal’s Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences (15.8 km from Kolkata Railway Station), Apoorva’s treatment would cost Rs.3,91,800/- (Rupees Three Lakh Ninety-One Thousand Eight Hundred Only).

Pappu, Apoorva’s Father, works as a Rapido driver and earns meagre earnings. He is the sole breadwinner in his family of five and has no one to rely on.
