“We were very eager to welcome our baby. We were dreaming of a happy life with our baby. But destiny had a different plan for us. My baby is born premature. She will need NICU stay along with medicines for her recovery. My husband is a daily wage laborer and earns very little. We are not able to bear the expenses. We are in need of help. Baby of Ambily is a 7 day old baby girl. She was born premature in the 6 th month of pregnancy. Baby’s father, Rajesh is a daily wage worker and her mother, Ambily is a housewife. Rajesh is the only earning member in the family.

The baby is currently admitted in Lourdes hospital. The doctor treating her suggested the baby to be kept in NICU for 5 weeks and will be kept on ventilator care. The baby will also be given IV Fluids, IV antibiotics, medicines and nutritional supplements. The estimated cost of the baby’s treatment is Rs.3,50,000/- (three lakhs fifty thousand only).

Baby’s father, being the only earning person in the family, is not able to bear the expenses of his baby’s treatment.
