Mohammad Ahsan Abbas is a four-month-old child of Mohd Azhar Pasha and Shabana Azmi. Like any other parents, Shabana and Mohd Azhar dote on their little one constantly. But their love and kisses can do little to heal the marred heart of Ahsan.

Ahsan was born with a weak heart, and his days have been plagued by breathing problems, fever, and cold and he has also lost a tremendous amount of weight. According to the doctors at Telangana’s Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (8.8 km from Hyderabad Railway Station), the cost of the little one’s treatment is Rs 5,50,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Mohd Azhar Pasha is a daily wage labourer and the sole breadwinner in his family of six. Adding to his miseries, he has to pay a monthly rent of Rs 3,500 to ensure he has a roof over his head.
