“Teachers had nothing but praise for my son, Afnas. All my extended family members had high hopes that he will carry the legacy of our family forward. But today, his very life has come into question. It’s like my son has turned into a little toddler once again, looking at his father with teary eyes for help. I have nothing to offer him except for false consolation to soothe his heart.”-

Mujeebrahman works tirelessly as a driver, but while he is behind the steering wheel, his mind gets haunted by the thoughts of his son, Afnas, who has been diagnosed with ‘T-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia’. Thousands of thoughts race through his mind, but the primary question that troubles him is what the future holds for his son.

It all started one and a half months ago, when Afnas, a bright studious boy, suddenly fell ill. After undergoing a blood test, it was found that that Afnas has Leukaemia.

Today, Afnas has been confined to Aster MIMS Hospital in Kerala. His books have been collecting dust, as he has been forced to battle cancer. Doctors have said that he needs chemotherapy for a duration of 3 – 5 years. The total cost of the treatment is Rs.9,00,000/- (Rupees Nine Lakh Only).

Who once was a child with potential, has now turned into a shadow of his former self. He needs support from kind souls like you to get back on his feet.
