Aashrith is just like any other child, full of longing to play and jump around, but he has the unfortunate fate of being diagnosed with ‘Myelodysplastic Syndrome with AML’. Myelodysplastic syndromes are a group of cancers in which immature blood cells in the bone marrow do not mature or become healthy blood cells.

Aashrith’s father, Giri works as an office employee, who somehow managed to arrange the funds for his dear son’s bone marrow transplant. But Aashrith is suffering from post-transplant complications right now. According to the doctors at Rainbow Children`s Hospital in Hyderabad, Aashrith requires Regular screening for Viral Infections and Chimerism., which is costing around Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Only).

Having already spent a fortune on his son’s treatment by taking help from charitable trusts and friends, Giri has no way of sparing more expenses. Most of his income already goes towards paying the house rent and daily expenses of his family of four.
