“It's been five years since we are living this kind of life. Wake up early, work hard the entire day, get a minimum amount at the end of the month, and in between, take our son, Aarush, to the hospital for a blood transfusion once a month and see him suffer because of that deadly disease. We've been living in fear that if something happens to him one day, we would not be able to forgive ourselves, because we are not able to provide our son with the right treatment he needs. God save us from this misery.”-

Little Aarush was just five months old when his parents discovered that he was suffering from Thalassemia Major, a blood disorder. They did not know what it meant but knew that their son's health was critical. Mr. Basavaraj, Aarush's father, and Mrs. Rajeshwari, Aarush's mother, own a small piece of land. They work and earn nearly 5,000/- a month. By selling their other belongings and borrowing money from others, they managed to pay for Aarush’s monthly blood transfusions from the little that they had. They used to take him to a local hospital in Karnataka, where they live. Aarush is six years old now and his condition has worsened. He is weak and cannot eat properly or even walk on his own.

Aarush's parents took him to Narayan Hospital, Bengaluru. The doctors have proposed a Bone Marrow Transplant as a part of Aarush's treatment. Fortunately, his father is a complete HLA match with Aarush, making him a stem cell donor for him. The estimated cost of the transplant is Rs. 20,50,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakh Fifty Thousand only). Please help Aarush's parents arrange this amount of money.
