International Childhood Cancer Day - 15th February

The goal of the WHO Global Childhood Cancer Initiative is to eliminate all pain and suffering of children fighting cancer and achieve at least 60% survival for all children diagnosed with cancer around the world by 2030.

Each year, more than 300,000 children from birth to 19 years are diagnosed with cancer around the world. Approximately, 8 in 10 of these children inhabit in low and middle-income countries where their survival rate is often near 20%.

Role of Child Help Foundation?

  • Child Help Foundation provides Emergency Medical support to children with Childhood Cancer. It is our Flagship Programme in compliance with SDG3 which aims to reduce by one third, premature mortality from non-communicable diseases through prevention and treatment and well-being of children.

  • Premature mortality from the non-communicable disease often refers to as childhood Cancer cardiovascular diseases, chronic respiratory disease, and diabetes mellitus. It is an emerging priority in the child health agenda in India.

  • Child Help Foundation partners with the best of medical professional and hospitals from across the nation provide medical treatment to children with Cancer. Our effort has lead to saving 389 underprivileged children across the nation. We ensure children with serious illness do not have to die in the dawn of their lives.
