On this International Youth Day, we recognise the limitless potential, courage, and unwavering determination of young people throughout the world. It is a day to inspire young people to dream big, persevere in the face of adversity, and make an unmistakable imprint on the canvas of human history. This blog serves as an inspiration to all young hearts, reminding them of their ability to affect change, inspire others, and design a future that matches their dreams.

The theme for this year is Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World. The United Nations (UN) designated this day to raise awareness and consciousness regarding engaging and encouraging future generations to participate. The first International Youth Day was observed in 1999, following the adoption of a resolution by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) recognising the proposals of the World Ministers' Meeting on Youth in Lisbon.

Let's remind ourselves that the power of change lies within our wildest dreams.
