“Good nutrition is the bedrock of child survival and development.”
Have you ever been hungry for a day? Probably not. We can never imagine the plight of a hungry person but we sure can help them.
People suffer all kinds of suffering but the inability to feed oneself is the worst. This problem is at such a larger scale that it is now a national concern. In India, around 189.2 million people are undernourished. This not only makes them unfit for sustaining a life but also traps them into various health issues. Some may not even have experienced normal living and the feeling of being securely nourished on all days.
One of the SDGs of the United Nations that we have adopted is Zero Hunger. Filaantro along with Child Help Foundation initiated projects under 'Zero Hunger' in 2020. In our aim to provide nutritious meals to underprivileged children, we serve more than 1800 children across India, every day.
On completing 12 years of the organization, we are aiming to grow our reach to 12,000 children with good food. Starting from Children’s Day to our Foundation Day, Under the POSHAN campaign, Let's come together to give children the feeling of being securely nourished.
