In rural communities, access to reliable lighting can make everyday activities, from studying after sunset to moving safely through the community, more difficult. For children, the lack of adequate lighting can create additional challenges to learning and completing their education.
At Child Help Foundation, we are working to promote access to clean and sustainable energy solutions through initiatives such as the distribution of solar lamps and our Integrated Solar Lighting Initiative. By bringing solar-powered lighting to communities, these efforts help create brighter spaces while encouraging the use of renewable energy.
The impact of this work has also been recognised at the CSR Times Awards, where CHF received the Gold Award for its Integrated Solar Lighting Initiative, acknowledging the initiative's contribution towards sustainable development and community well-being.
