Instead of taking their newborn home, his parents have spent their days anxiously waiting beside hospital beds and medical equipment. Doctors at KIMS Hospital, Thane, Maharashtra (7.8km from Thane Railway Station), have advised NICU care for 5–6 weeks, giving the baby the best chance of overcoming complications associated with premature birth. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 8,40,000 (Rupees Eight Lakh Forty Thousand Only).

Dhirendra works as a daily wage labourer, earning only enough to meet the family's basic needs. His wife, Vandana, is a homemaker, and both parents face mobility challenges, making their situation even more difficult. With a family of three, a limited income, and growing financial burdens, covering the treatment costs has become overwhelming.

Despite these hardships, the family remains hopeful. With continued medical care and support, this tiny fighter can be given the chance to leave the NICU behind and begin the healthy childhood every child deserves.
