For Ganesh and Satvashila, this was meant to be a time of joy, welcoming their first child into the family. Instead, they find themselves spending sleepless nights at the hospital, watching their baby fight through tubes and machines, hoping for the day they can finally hold him without fear. At home, Ganesh's elderly mother waits anxiously too, praying for her grandson's safe return.

Doctors at Borneo Mother & Child Care Hospital, Thane (2.7km from Thane Railway Station), have advised a NICU stay of 60 to 65 days for the baby's recovery. The estimated cost of treatment is Rs. 6,50,000 (Rupees Six Lakh Fifty Thousand Only).

Ganesh works as a farmer, and with a family of four to support, including his elderly mother, the added cost of his newborn's treatment has left them struggling. Even so, Ganesh and Satvashila hold on to hope that their little one will soon be strong enough to come home.
